Hello my darlings,
Happy Tasty Thursday!!
About two weeks ago the store near me had a great sale on ribs, so I asked Mr. B if he would be willing to cook ribs for us one night if I bought them. Of course he said yes, so I bought them.
Now all I had to do was manage to fit them into our meal plan, and this week I was able to, and boy were they delicious!
So here’s what you need to make Mr. B’s Awesome Ribs:
- rack of ribs
- salt & pepper
- garlic salt
- crushed red pepper (fine powder)
- apple juice or ginger ale
- bbq sauce (*we love our Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce, Original – 18 oz
First, you want to make a dry rub out of the salt, pepper, garlic salt and crushed red pepper and rub it on the ribs. Mr. B just sprinkles it onto the rack because he normally is only making one rack.
Then you want to add your liquid of choice (we use apple juice because we are more likely to have it on hand then ginger ale). At this point you’ll put it in the oven at about 325 degrees for about 1 to 1.5 hours, basically until it is fully cooked.
After the ribs are fully cooked, you’ll add some BBQ sauce and throw it on the grill for about 10 minutes.
After all of this, they are ready to be eaten! So Enjoy!
Until next time,
